FLU VACCINATIONS

Flu vaccines are now in stock.  Patients eligible for the flu vaccination include:

  • Children aged 2-4yrs

  • COPD

  • Diabetes

  • Asthma

  • Pregnant

  • Kidney, liver or heart disease

  • Immunosuppressed

  • Aged 65yrs and over*

*There is a new vaccine this year for patients aged 65 and over but initial supplies are limited. The Public Health Agency has advised us to vaccinate patients aged 75 and over first so patients aged from 65-74 will not be offered the vaccine until the start of December.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR

The surgery will operate as normal until 12 midday on Christmas Eve, Monday 24 December, after which we will remain open for emergencies until 6pm.

The surgery will be closed from 6pm on Monday 24 December until 8.30am on Thursday 27 December.  If you require medical attention during this time please contact Out of Hours (OOHs) on 028 9074 4447.

The surgery will close again at 6pm on Monday 31 December until 8.30am on Wednesday 2 January.  OOHs will cover during this closure also.

Patients are asked to ensure that, if your repeat prescriptions are due over the holiday period, you order them from the surgery at least 2 working days before the surgery closes for the holiday period.
